in the house, and he hath committed all that he has to my hands; There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back anything from me but thee, because thou art his wife; how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?" Relating to this, President Gordon B. Hinckley said: "It seems as if the whole world has become obsessed with sex. In a very beguiling and alluring way, it is thrown at you constantly. You are exposed to it on television, in magazines and books, in videos, even in music. Turn your back on it. Shun it. I know that is easy to say and difficult to do. But each time that you do so, it will be much easier the next time. What a wonderful thing it will be if someday you can stand before the Lord and say, 'I am clean'" (Ensign, May 1996, 48). This is some amazing advice and yet it sounds so simple. Moral sins are some of the most addicting sins we have. As stated in The Family: A Proclamation to the World "The first commandment that God gave to Adam and Eve pertained to their potential for parenthood as husband and wife.... We further declare that God has commanded that the sacred powers of procreation are to be employed only between man and woman, lawfully wedded as husband and wife." This statement lays it all out very clearly. God gave us these powers to help us bring our children into this world. They are not to be tampered with. I know that everything these days tries to point us in that direction. Everything makes refernce so sex or other god given things. We need to do our best to avoid it. I am not saying this to anyone in specific. I was simply reading and realized that this is something that I and others of this world need to work on. I admonish all of you to try to be "in the world but not of the world."
